About us
Canterbury Operatic Society has been performing shows and concerts in the Canterbury area for over 100 years.
Our last three productions - The Pirates of Penzance, The Pajama Game and Into the Woods (all at the Gulbenkian Theatre) were awarded Accolades of Excellence by NODA South East and we aim to build on this standard with each performance.
Whether you like performing or prefer to be out of the limelight doing vital work backstage or front of house, we welcome new members warmly. Please get in contact!
We have just completed a production of Guys and Dolls at the Marlowe Theatre which was received very enthusiastically by our audiences. Well over 60 people (and a dog!) worked together on, above, under and behind the stage to produce a great show which has received very positive feedback.
